ABOUT ME

I am a geology professor at the University of New Orleans working in clay in my spare time. I appreciate the variety of aspects of geology that are essential in the ceramic process from finding and mixing clays and glazes, to the metamorphosis of those materials during firing. I try to incorporate natural forms and textures in my ceramics to reflect my love of the geologic underpinnings of the craft.
